ND vs St. Patrick 9/3/08

The Varsity Golf Team took to the links again yesterday taking on the shamrocks of St. Pats. Despite a gloomy afternoon the Dons kept their focus and came out swinging to defeat St. Pats 165-177 taking their record to 4-0.  Scoring for the Dons were Medalist Harry Johnson with a 39, Anthony Salerno with a 41, Padraic Canavan with a 42, and Denis Walsh with a 43.

The Frosh/Soph Golf Team continued their winning ways as well as they defeated St. Patrick 177-200 taking there record to 4-0.  Leading the way for the Dons were Medalist Mike Schulz with a 39, Jonathon Beierwalters with a 44, Mike Kolodzeij and Kyle Smith both with 45.


ND vs Marist 9/2/08

The Varsity Golf Team took to the links yesterday in there first conference match of the season  taking on Marist. Despite the long road trip and the 90 degree temperature the Dons came out in full swing defeating Marist 157 – 165 leading the way for the Dons were Medalist Anthony Salerno with a 38, Justin Horodecki with a 39, Padraic Canavan and Tommy Rueve both with 40.


The Frosh/Soph Golf team also came out in full swing and came up victorious by the narrowest of margins defeating Marist 158 – 159.  Leading the way for the Dons were Michael Kolodzeij and Kyle Smith both with 38, Ben Mitchell with a 40, and Matthew Schaefer with a 42.  Both levels will face off against St. Pat’s today at Mission Hills Country Club.  GOOD LUCK DONS!!



Fenton Invitational 8/30/08

The Varsity Golf Team took to the links on Saturday for  there first 18 hole round of this season competing in the Fenton Invitational at White Pines Golf Course.  They finished with a combined score of 338 finishing 25th out of 36 teams.  Scoring for the Dons were Padraic Canavan with a 76 and a top 20 finish, Tommy Rueve with an 83, John Kronon with an 88 and Justin Horodecki with an 91.  Both levels will face off today against Marist at The Meadows Golf Course, in Blue Island Illinois.  GOOD LUCK DONS!!!


ND vs Northridge Prep. 8/25/08

The Varsity Golf Dons were back on the links yesterday in full swing against Northridge Prep.  The Dons were victorious in their quest as they defeated Northridge 159 – 185.  Leading the way for the Dons were Co-Medalist Padraic Canavan and Anthony Salerno both with 39, Harry Johnson with a 40, and Robby Martin with a 41.

The Frosh/Soph Golf Dons followed suit with the varsity as they also were victorious in their quest to defeat Northridge Prep. by a score of 173-204.  Leading the way for the Dons were Medalist Mike Kolodzeij with a 40, Justin Sanetra and Kyle Smith both with 44, and Ben Mitchell with a 45.  The varsity will compete this weekend in the Fenton Invitational at White Pines Golf Course.   Good Luck Dons!!!


ND vs Ridgewood 8/22/08

The Varsity Golf Dons took to the links on Friday, the start of there 2008 season.  It was a good day as the Dons came out on top, defeating Ridgewood 169-225.  The Dons were lead by Medalist Robby Martin with a 40, Harry Johnson, Anthony Salerno and Tommy Rueve all with a 43.

The Frosh/Soph Golf Dons also took to the links and they too had a successful day as they defeated Ridgewood 167-224. Scoring for the Dons were Medalist Justin Sanetra with a 39, Ben Mitchell and Michael Kolodzeij both with 42, and Matthew Schaefer with a 44.  Both levels with compete today against Northridge Prep. at Willow Hill Golf Course.   Good Luck Dons!!!
