Student Activities
Student Activities play an important role in the lives of the students of Notre Dame. These activities provide an opportunity for students to grow as men of faith, service, spirit and leadership. Our activities program focuses on providing different experiences for our students, allowing them to grow, while at the same time making school an enjoyable place to be. The primary goal of our clubs is to provide opportunities for our students to utilize their skills or learn new ones in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.
Many of our students participate in highly structured leadership training. This training is applied in our Notre Dame community and within the community at large as students demonstrate their leadership and give service.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Tim Jarotkiewicz '98, Asst. Principal for Student Life, at 847.779.8646 or at tjarotkiewicz@ndhsdons.org.
Walkathon 2007 Totals Smash Record
Thanks to great participation in Walkathon 2007, $60,322.00 was collected making it the best year ever!
"The students deserve all of the credit for the record-breaking amount that the Walkathon raised this year. The best part is that the money will fund their clubs and activities throughout the year. Notre Dame High School is proud to offer its students a wide variety of quality clubs and activities. Thanks to the leadership and hard work of our students, the money raised by this year's Walkathon will make these student organizations even better," said Mr. Tim Jarotkiewicz '98 , Asst. Principal for Student Life.
Eric Carrabotta '11 and Tim O'Donnell '10 were the top fundraisers in the freshman and sophomore classes so they each won Ninetendo Wii Video Game Systems.
Michael Clark '09 and Tom Dado '08 were the top fundraisers among juniors and seniors so they won free prom bids and reserved parking spots outside of the 100 wing for the rest of the school year.
