Asian Club

Founded by interested students in the fall of 1999, this organization is open to all interested in sharing or gaining knowledge of Eastern Cultures. Our club has regular meetings to plan activities such as raising funds to establish a "Hall of Flags" where the flags of all nations are represented by students in our school may be displayed, representing costumes, foods, and crafts from various cultures, sampling at area restaurants, showing classic films from various Asian cultures, and eventually, we wish to plan a club trip to a Asian country. Our events culminate at the end of the second semester with Asian Culture Week, where we help to foster an appreciation of the diversity of the student population.
