Parents Association Meeting - March 10th, 2008 @ 7 pm

Mother/Son Dance - Friday, March 14th from 6:45 pm to 10:30 pm
The theme of this year's Mother/Son Dance is "Boogie Fever." Moms, you and your sons will have a great night of dinner and dancing to the disco beat. The cost is $35 per couple or $20 per person. Moms with more than one NDHS son pay only $35.
The dress is casual or you are invited to come dressed in your best "disco" attire.
Moms, you should have already received your invitation. Please R.S.V.P. by Monday, March 11th.

Spirit of Notre Dame Dinner Auction - Start Spreadin' the News is April 19th
Save the Date! The 16th Annual Spirit of Notre Dame Dinner Auction - Start Spreadin' the News is Saturday, April 19th at Notre Dame High School. More details will be available soon!
Donations for the Live and Silent Auctions are needed. Please consider donating an item or advertise in the Auction Program. Some 600 of our alumni,
family and friends are expected to personally visit the NDHS campus. The success of our 2008 Dinner Auction depends on gifts donated through the generosity of local businesses and others. We are asking that you consider contributing to the success of the Dinner Auction this year by donating a gift that will be used in our Silent or Live Auction. As a contributor, you or your company name will be listed in our Auction Program, on our website and will receive visibility among the Notre Dame Community, friends and advertisers. We also welcome ads for our program. All donations are tax-deductible.

Parents Association Meeting - April 7, 2008 @ 7 pm

Parents Association Meeting Minutes - March 13, 2008
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 by Kathy Ernst. Mr. Tully said the opening prayer. Father Smyth and Fr. Klees were not present for the meeting.
Mr. Tully stated that there is a Parent’s Breakfast at 7:00 on March 13 discussing standardized testing. All are welcomed. Bishop Kane will be celebrating mass on April 4 to commemorate the one year transition at Notre Dame.
Scott Dutton, Assistant Principal for Academics was the guest speaker at the meeting. He described the registration process. He stressed that he hopes that students make appropriate class choices. He makes the master schedule in the summer based on the students’ class choices. His goal is to get every student into the courses that they want to take. He suggests that student should select classes based on interest in the class and not on who is teaching the class.
The Athletic Club Fashion Show was a big success. It was fun for all who attended.
Upcoming events include the Mother/Son Dance on Friday, March 14 at 6:45. All are welcomed to attend. Tickets may be purchased the night of the dance at the door. Volunteers are needed to help decorate the gym on Thursday, March 13 around 6:30. Donations for the Dinner Auction scheduled for April 19 are coming in nicely. Raffle tickets have already been mailed to all Notre Dame families.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 after raffle prizes were drawn. The next Parent Association meeting will be Monday, April 7 at 7:00.
