The Parent Gift

A Tradition of Generosity

Since its founding in 1954, Notre Dame has been fortunate to attract generous and giving parents. Two of the very first clubs formed at Notre Dame were the Fathers' Club and the Mothers' Club, organizations that planned and staffed dances, dinners, casino nights, hospitality nights in the cafeteria after home athletic events, etc.

Today, with an energetic and active Parents' Association, our parents stand out for the hundreds of ways they help to build the family of Notre Dame. From the beginning, Notre Dame parents have always given us their greatest gift: their sons. They continue to give generously of their time, talent and treasure to ensure that Notre Dame High School is forever synonymous with Family.

Believing in the Mission Today...

Established in 2004, The Notre Dame Parent Fund is a unique giving opportunity for parents and guardians who have sons presently attending Notre Dame.

Each year, the proceeds from The Notre Dame Parent Fund will be devoted to a specific project or program that will enhance and strengthen the instructional and co-curricular life at Notre Dame.

The Notre Dame Parent Fund will help to ensure that every Don not only has the opportunity to attend Notre Dame, but that every Don is also challenged to excel academically, spiritually, physically and emotionally in an outstanding and distinctive learning environment.

A Gift of Lasting Impact...

Dependent upon the project goal of a given year, your gift may:

• Provide funds for student scholarships and financial assistance to our Notre Dame families
• Provide funds for technological upgrades in the classrooms and labs, and capital improvements in the theatre and the athletic facilities
• Help Notre Dame to attract and retain a talented and gifted faculty and staff

This Parent Fund will provide an opportunity to solidify Notre Dame's reputation as a community blessed with incredibly generous families.

And Most Importantly

Consistent with the mission of Notre Dame, The Notre Dame Parent Fund will succeed because we trust in God's providential care. Therefore, no monetary yearly goal will be set. Instead, each year the goal for The Notre Dame Parent Fund will be simple: 100% participation. Notre Dame parents are asked to participate and give what they are can each year. Whether it's $5 or $5,000, Notre Dame High School will be grateful.

• It costs approximately $2,000 annually, in addition to tuition, to educate a Notre Dame student
• Notre Dame High School is committed to ensuring that every student is afforded an outstanding college preparatory education built upon the foundation of faith, scholarship and service
• As we continue to build our list of generous benefactors, one of the first questions a potential donor asks before making an investment in your son's education is what level of family giving participation does Notre Dame enjoy?
