Standardized Testing

The Couseling Center coordinates and administers standardized testing (PLAN, PSAT, ACT, SAT, AP exams); recommends resources for test preparation.

PLAN & PSAT Tests Are Wednesday, October 15

Wednesday, October 15 is scheduled as Notre Dame’s annual testing of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Seniors will have the day off.

Freshmen and sophomores will take the PLAN. Juniors will take the PSAT. Students will report to their Advisories no later than 7:50, just like the beginning of any school day. Students will remain in their Advisories until the completion of their exams. Freshmen and sophomores will finish the PLAN by approximatley 12:00 noon. Juniors will finish the PSAT by approximately 11:00 am. Times may vary from room to room.

Get plenty of rest the night before and have a good breakfast on Wednesday morning. Taking the PLAN and PSAT are important practice tests for doing your best on the ACT and SAT. Please take the tests seriously and do your best. Your results on these tests are indicators of the scores you might receive on the ACT and SAT and play an important role in the choices you have later for college.
