Today is an A Schedule
CLUB/CLASS NOTES:
YEARBOOK PICTURES: All members of Ultimate Frisbee, Cross and Anchor, Peer Helpers, Maridon and Focus must report to the gym immediately after school for club yearbook photos.
ND VISION: Stop by the bookstore today to pick up your copy of ND Vision.
STUDENT COUNCIL: All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are interested in joining Student Council, and also all current members should meet Sean OHara outside of room 217 immediately after school.
SENIOR CLASS NEWS: Attention seniors! The seating chart for graduation will be given to you during advisory today. If by some chance you do not receive one, please see Mrs. Lesniak for a copy. It is important that this information be given to your parents so your family knows where they will be seated during your graduation ceremony. Thanks!
BIG BROTHERS: Attention sophomores and juniors! Today during advisory you will receive sign-up sheets for the Big Brother program. If you would like to be a Big Brother, please complete the form and give it to your advisor or Mr. Jarotkiewicz by the end of the day on Monday.
ASIAN CLUB: There will be a pizza party for all Asian Club members after school today in the cafeteria.
GAMES CLUB: The end of the year Games Club celebration will take place after the last exam on Monday in Room 207. All members of the Games Club are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided.
STATE BOOKS: Students are reminded that they must return all state books to their teachers on the day of the exam. Any student who does not turn in his state book will be charged $85.00.
LIBRARY NEWS: Please return all books to the library by the end of the day today. Thank you.
FROM THE DEANS OFFICE:
Seniors are reminded that they may not participate in graduation exercises until they have satisfied all obligations to the deans office. Seniors are referred to page twenty-two of the handbook for the relevant language.
FROM THE FACILITIES AND GROUNDS DEPARTMENT:
There will be garbage receptacles conveniently located around the school all day today. Trash from lockers must be placed in these cans. Tables will also be located at hallway intersections for books that you no longer want. Do not throw books you no longer want into the garbage. Put them on the tables and they will be collected. Trash cans will also be located in our parking lots. Please do not litter: do not disrespect our neighbors or our school! Thank you!
FROM THE COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER:
AP EXAMS: Attention AP students! Please be aware of when your exams are and please meet in the Holy Cross Dining Room for your exam. Any questions please see Mr. Kuffel!
Seniors! Please bring in ALL scholarships and financial aid packages each school offered you. Please bring in the financial offers worksheet so we can make a photocopy and add that information to your family connection website.
CAMPUS MINISTRY:
World Youth Day is being celebrated Chicago Style - There will be events this summer and the first one is this Sunday, May 18th, 2008, from 4-7 PM, at St. Emily Parish in Mt Prospect. It is the First World Youth Day Prep Session. Whether you are going to Australia in July, or just want to support and pray with other youth and young adults preparing for a pilgrimage, please come and be enriched spiritually.
FROM CHRISTIAN SERVICE HEADQUARTERS:
Today is the last day you have to be in Dress Code... providing you have purchased at Dress Down Day pass. The New Orleans Service Immersion Trip participants will again be selling the $5 passes during lunch today, which will entitle you to wear an ND t-shirt or sweatshirt with jeans, jean shorts, cargo pants, or cargo shorts during Finals. Pajama pants and hooded-sweatshirts are not allowed. Please be aware that teachers will be checking passes at the beginning of each final exam next week. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Any senior who is going to play college athletics next year should see Coach Hennessey at the front desk at the start of advisory today for a picture and information session.
BASEBALL: Baseball games today are as scheduled: varsity plays Niles North at 7 PM; sophomores and frosh B play at ND at 4:30 PM; frosh A plays at Niles North.
Good luck to our tennis and track athletes who participate in IHSA sectionals this weekend.
