Notre Dame Day at A's Fest on Sunday, July 13th

Notre Dame High School Alumni and friends are cordially invited to A's Fest on Sunday, July 13th from 11 am to closing. A's Fest will be held at A's Bar Inc. at 8751 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Niles (847.965.1013). (Raindate is July 20th).

A's Fest is actually a two-day event (July 12th-13th with July 19th-20th as raindates). Each day will feature bands playing all day and evening. There will be several Notre Dame bands playing as well. Come out and enjoy the music and food on A's.

A's Bar Inc. is owned by Alumni parent Harry Achino and his sons Joe '98, Andy '03, Corey '05 and Michael '07.

21st Annual Alumni Assocation Golf Outing - Save The Date For 2008!

The 21st Annual Alumni Association Golf Outing will also be held at White Pines Golf Club in Bensenville on July 21, 2008.

Planning the Classes of 1958 50th Reunion & Salute to Coach Yonto Weekend (9/19-21/08)

The Notre Dame High School Alumni Association is seeking your great ideas and energy to help plan the 50th Reunion/Salute to Coach Joe Yonto Weekend which is scheduled for September 19th through 21st. The invitation to this fun and memory filled weekend will be extended to Alumni from the Class of 1958 as well as those Alumni who played football under the guidance of legendary Coach Joe Yonto from 1958 to 1964. Five Alumni Were Inducted into Athletic Wall of Fame - February 9th & 10th

Notre Dame High School induced five new members onto its Athletic Wall of Fame.  The five new members are:

-Dennis Fries, football player from the Class of 1966
-Pat McCaskey, football and track athlete from the Class of 1967
-Matt O'Grady, football player from the Class of 1997
-Bill Stanton, baseball, football, and wrestling athlete from the Class of 1998
-Michael Stefan, golf athlete from the Class of 2001  

The five new members were honored in a ceremony at the school on Saturday, February 9, 2008 between the sophomore and varsity basketball games in the gymnasium. There was also a Mass and induction ceremony held on Sunday, February 10th followed by a brunch reception in the cafeteria.

Young Alumni Program

The Young Alumni Program (YAP) was created within Notre Dame High School's Alumni Association specifically for the newest Notre Dame alumni. Started last year, the goal of the Alumni Association’s Young Alumni Program (YAP) is to gather recent graduates to help build a bridge to the Notre Dame community. Read more...

Dons' Doings

Inaugural Hall of Honor Event Saluted 33 Alumni Dons

on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007

Thirty-three alumni Dons were inducted into the Inaugural Class of Notre Dame High School's Hall of Honor on Sunday, Sept. 30. The day included a Mass at 9:30 am followed by the award ceremony at 10:40 am. The Hall of Honor was established to recognize outstanding Alumni Dons for achievements in faith, scholarship and service. Click here for a complete story regarding the Hall of Honor event

Augie Genovesi Leads Alumni Office

Longtime Head Wrestling Coach Augie Genovesi is the Alumni officer at Notre Dame High School. Genovesi, who has coached at NDHS for 30 years, takes the reigns from Paul Tokarz '00 who is now the new Director of Enrollment.
