Enrollment Events (2007-2008)

The Enrollment Office hosts numerous events at Notre Dame High School. If you are on our mailing list, we will notify you well in advance of upcoming events. For further information regarding any of these dates, please contact Mr. Paul Tokarz at 847.779.8616.

Friday, Sept. 28
6:00 p.m. 
Library Courtyard
Cookout in the Courtyard” and free admission to ND vs. St. Viator at 7:30 p.m.
-Prospective students are invited to get together and have some fun at a barbeque in Notre Dame’s central courtyard. Prizes, music, and good times are to follow as the event includes free admission to the Notre Dame varsity football game against St. Viator in our own Notre Dame Football Stadium. The game usually ends around 9:30 pm.

Preliminaries will be conducted on Oct. 2, 9, and 16

Monday, Oct. 8 11:00 a.m.  Football Stadium Punt, Pass & Kick Contest Prospective students have the opportunity to attend Notre Dame’s annual football skills competition testing their abilities to punt, pass, and kick!

Basketball Shooting Camp
Prospective hoop Dons have a preseason opportunity to fine-tune their shooting skills. Cost is $15 payable at the Gymnasium door.

Prospective students are invited to experience what it is like to be a Don up-close. Individually guided tours by our own Notre Dame Dons give students and their families a personal look into why so many choose to invest their lives in Notre Dame.

Elementary School Science League
7th and 8th grade teams will be comprised or 2-4 students who will have the opportunity to compete while performing a variety of hands-on, scientific challenges. Students will be contacted prior to the date of competition and given info. regarding the challenge so that may do research in preparation of the event. Don't miss this chance to visit Notre Dame's state-of-the-art Science & Technology Center.

Notre Dame Placement Examination
Notre Dame invites prospective students to become a part of a great tradition, to become a Don of Notre Dame. Test begins promptly at 8:00 am. Testing fee is $25 and students should bring two #2 pencils and a non-scientific calculator. Registration takes place in the library.

Make-up Placement Exam
The make-up exam will be administered by Mr. Paul Tokarz, Director of Enrollment, and usually takes four hours. There is a $25 testing fee required. All students should bring two #2 pencils and a calculator for the test. Any interested students should contact Mrs. LaVerne Bontempo at 847.779.8615 in order to pre-register.
