St. Andrew Kim Dae-Gon Scholar Program

Saint Andrew Kim Dae-Gon was the first native Korean ordained as a priest in 1845. He was beatified in 1925 and canonized in 1984 by Pope John Paul II.

The St. Andrew Kim Dae-Gon Scholar Program, housed within the Student Counseling Center, is designed to provide international students with an opportunity to experience a faith-based college preparatory education in the United States. The program provides support and assistance to international students who may experience difficulty in school due to language barriers and cultural differences.
